Southwest Gas to Relocate Fallon Public Office to Fernley

Fallon, Nev. - Southwest Gas Corporation has announced that its Fallon Operations Center, including its public office located at 148 N. Carson Street, Fallon, Nev., will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, and reopen on Monday, Oct. 26, at 9:00 AM at its new Fernley location, 5900 MacDonald Drive, 89408, according to Todd Stokes, the company's director of District Operations in northern Nevada.

"For more than 35 years, the Fallon District operations facility and public office have been able to meet the needs of our customer base," said Stokes. "However, in order to continue to meet those needs and manage future expansions within our service territories, it became necessary to relocate the district operations facility and public office to the new location in Fernley."

Stokes added that all emergency response and field activities related to customer service will operate from the Fernley office. Customers may continue calling (877) 860-6020 (toll free) during normal business hours for customer inquiries and (800) 772-4555 for after-hours emergencies. "I want to assure our Fallon customers that they will continue to receive the same excellent customer service they've come to expect from Southwest Gas," Stokes said.

Customers can continue to pay their bills at any of the established pay stations located in Fernley, Fallon, Silver Springs, and Yerington. A list of the pay station agents is available on our website at www.swgas.com. at the Fallon public office prior to the move, or as shown below.
