Chocolate Crème Mint Pie
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 squares (3 oz.) chocolate, unsweetened
1/2 t. peppermint extract
1 pie shell, baked |
Cream shortening. Add sugar, creaming well. Beat 3 eggs and blend
into cream mixture. Melt and cool chocolate, blend into mixture.
Beat until real smooth. Add peppermint extract and pour into pie shell. Chill for several hours and top with whipped topping.
