|1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 German chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chopped pecans
14 oz. caramels
6 oz. chocolate chips
Melt margarine. Add to cake mix along with 1/3 c. evaporated milk and nuts.
Place half the batter in 9x13" pan and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°.
Melt caramels and remaining 1/3 c. milk. Remove cake from oven and pour
caramel mixture on top. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of melted caramels.
Pour the other half of cake batter on top and bake another 15 to 20 minutes.
