The safety of our customers and the communities we serve remains our top priority, and our crews are working to help ensure the area is safe. Gas service has been temporarily turned off in the impacted areas while our supplier completes the necessary repairs. We appreciate your patience as we work to safely restore service.
Southwest Gas reminds the public that a natural gas leak can be detected by a distinct sulfur-like odor, similar to rotten eggs, even if it’s faint or momentary; an unusual hissing or roaring sound coming from the ground or appliance; or blowing dirt, bubbling water, or discolored plants or grass surrounding natural gas infrastructure or pipeline markers. If you see, hear, or smell signs of a gas leak, leave the area immediately, then call 911 and Southwest Gas at 1-877-860-6020.
