UPDATE 07/12/2026: 8:13 am - Our crews have safely completed repairs and have begun relighting in the impacted area. They will make several passes through the community to attempt to restore natural gas service. Technicians will need access to customers’ natural gas appliances. All crew members will have proper identification. Please remember that someone 18 years or older must be present.

Southwest Gas crews have responded to an incident near W. American Avenue and N. Calle Futura in Pinal/Oracle Arizona.

Southwest Gas reminds the public that a natural gas leak can be detected by:
- A distinct sulfur-like odor, similar to rotten eggs, even if faint or momentary
- An unusual hissing or roaring sound coming from the ground or an appliance
- Blowing dirt, bubbling water, or discolored plants or grass near natural gas infrastructure or pipeline markers
