Construction for Pipeline Improvement Project to Begin on 22nd Street

Minor Traffic Restrictions Expected
 
(Tucson) - Beginning this month, a contractor for Southwest Gas will be working on a pipeline improvement project along 22nd Street between Sarnoff Drive to Gollob Road. Work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; however, extended hours may be necessary as the project moves forward. Work will begin on the southern side of 22nd Street at Oak Park Road and move west towards Sarnoff Drive. Work is estimated to be completed in November 2015.
 
Drivers may be impacted by road restrictions while this work takes place, including segments of 22nd Street restricted to one lane of eastbound traffic. Traffic control signage will be in place to assist drivers through the construction areas.
 
Vehicular access to businesses and residences will be maintained.
